At HMB we are a close knit crew led by Howard and Sarah Bedford, providing the audit, accountancy and taxation services you would expect from Chartered Accountants. The HMB crew work with business owners across Teesside and beyond to help their businesses ‘live long and prosper’.

Howard is a Director and an experienced Captain of the HMB crew, having been at the helm of the firm since its inception in 1997. Alongside accounting, Howard has extensive experience in taxation and works closely with clients to help their businesses live long and prosper. A lifelong Trekkie and sci‑fi enthusiast, Howard’s love of all things science fiction can still be spotted around the HMB office.

Sarah is a Director and First Officer at HMB. With both accountancy and legal qualifications, she also has a professional interest in tax ethics research. Sarah works closely with business owners, helping them understand their numbers and how these shape their business journey, so they can make informed decisions and prosper.
